OIL SPILL RESPONSE MACHINES

Quick solutions are necessary!

The oil spill response device is positioned either in the port or on the ship, where the oil is produced and rapidly contained to prevent significant spillage.

In this device, polystyrene powder is stored in a container of about 1-2 m3, which is connected to polystyrene foam, where about 50 times (5-8 mm) “styrox” balls are foamed. Styrox balls go from the beginning of the screw into a sock, which is made in connection with the device itself or into a pre-made sock. It makes an oil boom.
